Web Designer Portfolio

educational project

Role:

UX/UI Designer & Framer Developer

Project Overview

This project is an educational portfolio website created specifically to study and practice the Framer platform. The main goal was to deepen my understanding of Framer's capabilities by developing a personal portfolio showcasing my skills in UX/UI design, interactive prototyping, and scalable design systems.

Problem

To effectively learn and explore the Framer platform through a hands-on project, creating an appealing and functional personal portfolio that clearly demonstrates my UX/UI skills and design capabilities.

Solution

I developed a responsive and visually engaging portfolio site, structured into clear sections like projects, design process, testimonials, and personal information. I utilized Figma variables and the Framer platform extensively to ensure consistency, scalability, and interactivity throughout the design.

Methodology I Used

• User-Centered Design (UCD)

• Wireframing & Interactive Prototyping

• Creating Scalable Design Systems with Figma Variables

• Responsive and Interactive Design

Research

Conducted analysis of successful portfolio websites to understand best practices, user experience optimization, clear navigation strategies, and modern visual aesthetics.

Who I Interacted With

• Design peers and instructors for guidance and feedback

• Fellow learners and designers during usability testing and iterative improvements

Tools I Used

Framer (main tool for interactive design and prototyping)

Figma (for initial wireframes and design systems).

Affinity Designer (for graphic asset creation)

Affinity Photo (for image editing)

This educational project significantly enhanced my proficiency with Framer, improving my ability to create interactive, scalable, and visually coherent design systems.
